REGIONAL ASPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE RUSSIAN NON-PROFIT SECTOR

Objectives: identifying current development trends of the non-profit sector related to regional specifics; determination of the correlation of welfare of the existence of non-profit organizations and their territorial location. On similar research objectives it is worked: A. A. Auzan [Auzan], I. V. Mersiyanova [Mersiyanova], M. A. Molokova [Molokova], S. V. Suslova [Suslova], N. Anhayer [Anheier], J. Koka [Koka], L. Salamon [Salamon], R. Patmen [Putnam], M. Howard [Howard]. Methodology: system method; comparative analysis; statistical analysis methods; method of included observation. Findings: Regional specificity is the platform on which the design of the forms and formats of the non-profit sector is formed. An important mechanism for building is the strategy of the behavior of the regional elite (subsidiarity, cooperation, co-presence, hypertrophied custody, separation, rejection, skimping). The chosen position of the representatives of the government depends which place the non-profit sector will take in the socio-political life of the territory, what properties and characteristics will be inherent to local non-profit organizations. Research implications: the subsequent use of the results of scientific work can be carried out with a comprehensive study of the non-commercial sphere of Russia, regional political regimes, assessment of the state of Russian civil society at the present stage. Practical implications: the results of the work may find practical application in the activities of relevant authorities when forming support mechanisms of the non-profit sector of the Russian regions, as well as the improvement of the infrastructure for the non-profit sector.
