Abstract:
Interest in the problem of electoral behavior increases sharply at the critical stages of development of society, when the vector of socio-economic, political and civil development changes, a new system of social relations is approved. In the article the author analyzes the electoral behavior of citizens as a form of political behavior, identifies the reasons for the decline in political activity of citizens. The relevance of studying the problems of electoral behavior of the population is due not only to the need to know their essence, but also the need for scientific justification in the regulation of electoral processes.
