Abstract:
The author analyzes the national security strategy of the new us administration, which has caused numerous contradictory responses. In his Foreword to the Strategy, the President D. trump clearly defines a qualitatively new system of coordinates of US foreign policy. It is a «world of strong sovereign and independent States, each with its own culture and (national) dream, successfully developing side by side in prosperity, freedom and peace». This is what he calls «new thinking» and «a clear view of the world». In fact, it proclaims a completely new view of foreign policy, opposing the previous foreign policy traditions.
