Abstract:
The article is dealing with economic, legal and ethical aspects of piecework bonus system implementation within payroll for certain categories of front-office workers. This issue has a long history of development starting from USSR. Two types of shorter working week will be analyzed in this article: for women living in rural localities as well as some categories of employees living in Far North Districts and Districts, equated to the Far North - in order to take them into account when calculating the front-office staff incentives paying per unit of productivity. The implementation of such calculations is significantly hampered by conflicting standards that are taking place in Russian legislation. The wrong interpretation of the legislation in this case can lead to variety of payment of the same actions for employees occupying the same position and discrimination in the workplace. For the optimal solution of the question of the proper calculation method should be based on the basic principles of labour legislation.
