Abstract:
Within the framework of this article, an analysis is made of the current state of the expert study of the voice, modified by computer-technical programs, identifying the main problems in this area of expert activity, primarily related to the formulation of issues to be resolved during the examination. At the same time, the authors offer universal recommendations that will improve the procedural format of the appointment of this kind of expertise, taking into account the fundamentally important role assigned to this kind of evidence in the disclosure and investigation of crimes in the sphere of economic activity. The focus of the author's attention is the problems of using computer-technical means to detect and fix the acoustic masking of a phonogram by using special computer and technical means designed to distort voice through software, in order to be unable to subsequently identify or examine for identification of a person according to his voice.
