A study of prosecutorial supervision over the legislation implementation on the orphans and children protection left without parental care in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation is being carried out. The article considers the common and distinctive features of prosecutor's supervision in Russia and Kazakhstan in the field of the protection of children's rights. The analysis of laws and regulations governing the implementation of prosecutorial supervision is carried out, the legal basis for organizing prosecutorial supervision of the government legality agencies and other organizations, regardless of the form of ownership in protecting the orphans and children rights left without parental care, is investigated.
