Abstract:
The article is devoted to the consideration of Federal legal relations based on the principles of formation and functioning of the Federal state. In particular, the author analyzes the constitutional and legal status of the republics as subjects of Federal legal relations, which are understood as regulated by the rules of law social relations arising between the Russian Federation and its subjects on the issue of the division of state power, uniting the subjects of the Federation into a Federal state, are presented as initial in the structure of the Federal system, on the basis of which all other system connections and relations are formed.
