Abstract:
Government system in Serbia is based on the division of power into legislative, executive and judiciary. Legislative power is exercised by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. The National Assembly as the supreme representative body adopts laws and other acts attributed by the Constitution to the competence of the Republic of Serbia. The Law on the National Assembly provided for types of parliamentary procedures, including legislative procedure. The stages of the Law making process in Serbia differ in a number of specific features, the analysis of which is presented in this article.
