The article deals with the concept and the legal nature of such forced measure of educational influence as a restriction of leisure time of minors and the establishment of special requirements to their behavior. The contents of each restriction constituting the essence of this measure of educational influence is revealed in detail. In the article there also pointed out the main shortcomings of the provisions of Part 4 of Article 91 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the ways of their correction. The authors emphasized the similarities and the differences of the limits of minors leisure time and the establishment of special requirements to their conduct with probation and restriction of liberty. The authors also noted the importance of the considering measure of educational influence and its place in the structure of other measures of criminally-legal character. When considering the chosen scientific problem in the article it has been used as a general scientific (dialectical, analytical) and private-scientific (formal-legal, system-legal) methods.
