Abstract:
Objectives: The purpose of prepared article is to identify common and special, as well as single features in the criminal legislation of Russia and the countries of the Eurasian economic Union, providing protection of law enforcement agencies from external threats. Methods: The basis of the scientific article is a comparative legal analysis of the criminal laws of the EAEU countries and the systematization of their norms in an independent category of crimes, which is characterized by the presence of any external threats aimed at undermining the foundations of normal activities of law enforcement agencies and their authority. Conclusions: Provisions on amendments to the current criminal legislation in order to improve the efficiency of criminal law protection of the employees of the internal affairs bodies in the Russian Federation are proposed in the article. In the case of the introduction of the concept of a criminal offense in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, it is proposed to establish criminal liability for a non-public insult to a public agent, for interfering in activities and disobedience to a public agent. Specific gaps in the sphere of the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation are shown. Sense: The results of the work can be useful for persons who carry out legislative activities in the field of criminal law, and can also serve as a basis for the preparation and conduct of research on the issues under consideration.
