Theoretical questions of obtaining and using operational-investigative information

Background. To consider investigative operations as a system. Identify the specifics of the interaction of investigative operations as a system with other systems, namely, objective reality and criminal justice. To deduce the patterns of obtaining and using operational-investigative information. Materials and methods. With the help of general scientific methods of cognizing the system approach, a model for obtaining and using operational-investigative information was developed. With the use of system thinking, the elements of the system of investigative operations are established that participate in the process of obtaining and using operational-investigative information. The information approach method makes it possible to study the interrelationship of the system of investigative operations with other systems, as well as their individual elements. Results. A model for obtaining and using operational-investigative information was developed. It follows from the model that operational-investigative information is obtained by a system of investigative operations from the external environment, objective reality. operational-investigative information is used both within the system of investigative operations and by external consumers. It is established that the system of investigative operations in relation to the system of external users of operational-investigative information performs functions for obtaining information from the external environment of objective reality. The main regularities of operational-investigative information are revealed. Possibility of the subsequent use of scientific work. The results of the scientific work should be used for further research of the processes of investigative operations arising between the subjects and criminal proceedings, as a result of the transfer and use of operative-search information in criminal proceedings. It will also contribute to the development of theoretical research in the field of operational and investigative activities. Practical meaning. The established patterns of operational-search information can be used in developing regulatory legal acts, drawing up guidelines for practitioners of operational and investigative units. Value. The results of the conducted research are intended for scientific and pedagogical workers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, as well as for specialists studying criminal procedural and investigative operations, associates of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, post-graduate students of law faculties, and practical employees of law enforcement bodies.
