Abstract:
The article highlights the issues of proliferation of plastic cards on the territory of the Russian Federation, and the increase in the number of crimes related to the use of this financial instrument. The authors come to the conclusion about the importance of this group in the investigation of crimes timely application of special knowledge, basing his opinion specificity of objects sent for examination in conjunction with the use of traditional research opportunities. Among the most typical examinations authors call: forensic accounting, technical and forensic examination of documents and counterfeit cards, fingerprint, portrait. Receiving facilities for the expert studies carried out through three main investigative steps: crime scene investigation, search (personal or community) or a recess. In the course of these investigative actions, special attention should be paid to the withdrawal of any evidence of the commission of the crime: records videofiksatsii funds, checks, cards themselves, the next hand. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of plastic cards and their means of protection against counterfeiting, as the main objects of study. Indicates that among the remedies card, called the requisites attributed to different maps the following details and their combination: a graphical record; embossing; barcodes; encoding a magnetic stripe; chip; laser writing. For each of expertise are considered especially production and issues that can be resolved by their conduct. Otherwise the application of special knowledge possible within the advisory activities necessary exemption of certain objects, as well as possible ways of committing a crime in the study of fake credit card.
