Abstract:
Our society today faces a multitude of global problems, among which the problem of extremism occupies an important place. Extremism in any of the manifested forms is one of the most dangerous socio-political phenomena that require immediate resolution. In that, number, and in Russia. Moreover, the number of crimes of an extremist nature in our country is steadily growing every year. Continuation of the tendency to intensify extremist sentiments, stirring up interethnic and interreligious strife in Russia - a federal, multi-religious and multiethnic state - will inevitably lead to even larger inter-ethnic and interreligious conflicts; And regular bursts of terrorism can literally tear the country from within, ruin society, lead it to a state of "war of all against all", that is, lead to destabilization of the socio-political situation in the country. Young people are a layer of society that does not have certain ideological attitudes. This makes it subject to the influence of economic, political, social and other factors. All this leads to the formation of radical views and beliefs. As a result, there is a replenishment of the ranks of extremist and terrorist organizations that use the disunity of Russian youth in their own interests. The organization of measures to prevent and counter radicalization of Russian youth by the youth bodies is one of the priority tasks for today.
