Abstract:
The article refers to the ECOWAS, the Economic Community of West African States and its role in the regulation of agriculture and natural resources. ECOWAS is the largest and most complex of the regional organizations in West Africa. In the context of climate change in West Africa, as well as other parts of the continent, regularly shaken by periodic food crises. These crises are the result of many factors, both natural and human origin. This article discusses the competence of ECOWAS in the area of agriculture and natural resources including water resources.
