KEY RISKS OF CONTRACT MANAGEMENT PROCESS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON THE ACTIVITIES FORECAST OF HIGH-TECHNOLOGY COMPANY

Background: In the current economic conditions, high-technology production companies are increasingly facing the problem of contract management process. Just like any other component of company's business activity, contract management process is related to some risks, needed to be considered while building forecasts and plans, due to its significant influence on company's top management decisions. In this way, goal of the study is to examine the influence of key risks of contract management process on the activities forecast of high-technology companies. Materials an methods: This study relies on the results of theoretical and applied researches in the field of forecasting of high-technology companies and operation experience of one of the leading companies of Russian space industry. Results: In the course of the study of influence of contract management process's key risks on the activities forecasts of high-technology company, the heterogeneous nature of occurrence of these risks was found out. Some of these risks directly related to the contract management process, and does not depend on the production process, meanwhile the other ones tend to occur only in case of implementation of risks associated directly with the production process. Conclusion: Thus, the optimal way to consider the risks of contract management process of the organization while building forecasts, is to establish the department responsible for forecasting in such way, that lets this department to implement their activity in a continuous and complex way, both in terms of technological process and economical analysis.
