Abstract:
In accordance with the Constitution of Serbia of 2006, one of the fundamental basics of the constitutional system of Serbia is the protection of rights and freedoms. Almost 70 articles of the Constitution are devoted to the protection of rights and freedoms. The catalog of rights and freedoms provided in the Constitution of 2006 includes personal and political rights and freedoms, social and economic rights and collective rights characterizing the current stage of development of constitutionalism. The personal rights guaranteed in the Constitution of 2006 can be divided into: freedoms aimed at protecting the physical integrity of the person; freedoms, aimed at the spiritual independence of the individual; and, finally, rights and freedoms aimed at protecting privacy. Analysis of individual rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of Serbia 2006 is the subject of this article.
