FRENCH REGIONALISM EYES OF FERNAND BRAUDEL

The subject of research is the creative heritage of the French political scientist and historian Fernan Braudel. As the object of study are the political community subnational the French Republic, the specificity of French regionalism, the historical process as a whole from the perspective of a scientist. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of co-holding of such works Braudel as "the Mediterranean and the Mediterranean World in the Age of Philip II», «Grammar of civilizations", "What is France?". Methodology: System-structural method in which social relations appear as a system of relationships and interdependencies, which manifests itself through its components to determine the main determinants of the French political process through its regional dimension as well as highlight the peculiarities of the French model of regional policy according to the representation Braudel. Conclusions: An analysis of Russian and foreign sources suggests that the problematic issues raised in the article relevant based on up-mennom stage of development. Works of Fernand Braudel studied insufficiently, moreover, many of them translated into Russian to date. The article is written memory of the scientist, the 30 th anniversary of the death of Braudel. Practical: It is possible to the theoretical understanding of original research Braudel for his vision of the features of the French Regional Development to assess the legacy of the new political scientist, his contribution to the development of political science. Social consequences: Valuable experience in an interdisciplinary method based on the use of various achievements of scientific knowledge and an integrated approach to solving the problems of the researcher. Originality, value: The novelty of the study is to consider Braudel's work from the perspective of the researcher, not previously discussed by Russian political scientists, namely the allocation of the factors highlighted in the works Braudel, which can be correlated with the model of regional policy in France, especially its formation.
