Abstract:
The article analyzes some stable trends of the dynamics of Russia's political system. The author clarifies the fundamental aspects in the current Constitution of Russia and characterizes the degree of their implementation in practice. Attention is drawn to the transitional nature of the Russian political system, on the reasons for the persistence in it elements of a Soviet-style system and features of functioning in these conditions, new political institutions. Particular attention is paid to reasons arising from difficulties in the interpretation of the unique features of the Russian state and political system and clarify some of the features of its present state.
