SAUDI ARABIA GEOPOLITICAL INTERESTS IN THE PERSIAN GUL REGION AND CRISIS IN SYRIA

The Syrian crisis lasts more than 5 years. The countries of the region differently react to events in Syria in the conditions of a situation aggravation in the Middle East and threats to security. There is presented in article the analysis of geopolitical interests of Saudi Arabia as the leader of the region of the Persian gulf in the context of the Syrian crisis. There are considered the reasons of this or that reaction of the house of Saudis to events around Syria and also the relations of Saudi Arabia with a number of the countries anyway involved in development of the Syrian conflict.
