In the article the questions of the relationship of professional standards with the establishment of the wage workers. Comparing professional standards and billing of works on the Tariff and qualification reference tariff remuneration system, it is concluded that one of the key differences of professional standards from the qualification of the reference is the introduction of skill levels, which will depend on the tariff level and the wage. These levels should serve as a criterion of differentiation of wages. In this case the employer, it is important to understand how to set a qualification level for a particular professional standard within a standard, as well as how to develop on the basis of the professional standard qualifications framework. The authors argue that for workers, which will be a different qualification level in the professional standard must be observed the principle of fair remuneration system (i.e., the employer is obliged to establish a system of remuneration that workers with higher skills receive large wage rates than workers with lower skills).
