ETHNOCONFESSIONAL SECURITY IN THE STRUCTURE OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

This article describes the need for security and development in ethnic and national security of the Russian Federation in connection with the observed increase in the number of conflicts and threats on ethnic and religious basis. Tasks: to allocate ethnoconfessional security in the structure of Russia's national security, to compare the areas of implementation of ethnoconfessional security and migration security, to determine the directions of ethnoconfessional security for a high level of ethnoconfessional security. The methodological basis of the scientific article is the use of the scientific heritage of the classics of political science on issues of national security, migration, nonviolence, tolerance and harmony, and the study of Presidential Decree No. 537 of 12.05.2009 "On the National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2020". Conclusions: ethnoconfessional security is becoming more relevant in the modern world, is a component of Russia's national security. After examining the field of migration and ethno-confessional security, the author concludes that migration security is part of ethnoconfessional security. Practical significance: the results obtained in the course of work on a scientific article can be used in the educational process in higher education institutions when teaching courses in political science, religious studies, international relations, ethnoconflictology, and in the development of special and elective courses. In the future, it is planned to disclose the topic of ethnoconfessional security and its significance in the form of a thesis for the degree of candidate of political science.
