The authors highlight the little-known side of the biography of Metropolitan - a prominent reformer of the Russian Orthodox Church, the initiator and organizer of the canonization of the relics of Seraphim Sarovsky, the originator of the memorandum of desirable reforms in the Russian Orthodox Church, the Cathedral and its dispensation of restoration of the Patriarchate. All-Russian Local Council, for which has done so much, Metropolitan Anthony, which opened August 15, 1917 in Moscow and lasted more than a year to restore the institution of the patriarchate in Russia, but it is clear that without strong initiatives and activities of Metropolitan Anthony, he could not have taken place.
