Abstract:
The article discusses the nature of mediation and the historical stages of its formation and development, scientific understanding and legal formalization as a special means of legal protection, particularly relevant in conditions of modern Russian reality. Special attention is paid to the advantages of mediation procedures to actively implement them in the legal life. This paper analyzes the problems of using mediation in Russia.
