Abstract:
The article presents the analysis of the Government's legal status in the system of state authorities of Serbia. Analysis of the order of formation and the responsibility of the Government indicates that modern parliamentary system of Serbia is characterized by a rationalized parliamentarism. Exploring the contents of competence of the Government the author comes to the conclusion that the Serbian government is the major creator of domestic and foreign policy of the state that contributes to the stability of the parliamentary system of the state.
