Abstract:
The paper gives a classification of corruption in the customs service, an analysis of methods for assessing its scale, as well as the main problems preventing a full and complete assessment of the impact of corruption in the customs service on the effectiveness of its activities. In connection with the identified problems, recommendations are elaborated to improve the methodological basis for assessing the extent of corruption in the customs service.
