Abstract:
As a result of significant political changes in Serbia at the turn of the 1990s, political diversity and a multi-party system were restored in this state. The super-liberal constitutional legislation of that period, concerning the formation and activities of political parties, created the conditions for the appearance of an unjustifiably large number of political parties in Serbia. The Constitution of 2006 and the Law on Political Parties of 2009 made significant changes in the procedure and conditions for the organization and activities of political parties in the Republic of Serbia. The current legislation on political parties is the subject of this article.
