Abstract:
A new stage in the development of Yugoslavia is connected with the adoption of the Constitution of 1946. The Yugoslavian constitutional legislator used the experience of constitutional construction in the USSR in drafting the Constitution of the FPRY. As a result, a number of the constitutional institutions of Yugoslavia largely resembled the Soviet ones. This applies to the principles of federalism, the system of state power, and the constitutional status of citizens. The influence of the Soviet constitutional model was most clearly manifested in the provisions on the forms of ownership and organization of the management of the national economy. However, the new Constitution of Yugoslavia had a number of features. Specificity of the constitutional regulation of the social sphere in the Constitution of the FPRY of 1946 is the subject of this article.
