Abstract:
The new Serbian Constitution of 2006 laid the foundation for the modern organization and activities of the National Assembly of Serbia. At the same time, it provided for the adoption of the Law on the National Assembly, which was absent during the Serbian Constitution of 1990. Nevertheless, the Law on the National Assembly of 2010 detailing a number of issues related to the internal organization and organization of the activities of the National Assembly, in particular, the publicity of its activities, financing the activities of the National Assembly, did not become a legal act regulating the internal organization and activities of the National Assembly in detail. The Rules of procedure of the National Assembly of 1991 with a number of amendments and additions detailed all organizational and technical issues ensuring the activities of the National Assembly. The analysis of the legal basis of the activities of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia is presented in this article.
