Abstract:
According to the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina 1995, the democratic State of Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of two equal entities: the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska. Each of the entities has its own President, Parliament, government and citizenship. But herewith the Supreme power in the State possess the highest authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina: the Presidency, the Parliamentary Assembly and the Council of Ministers. Bosnia and Herzegovina has its own federal citizenship, and all citizens of each entity are thereby citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The article presents an analysis of the substantive and procedural component of the institution of citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
