The article examines the role of public authorities in ensuring the financial and economic independence of local self-government in the Kyrgyz Republic, the problems of organization and activity of local self-government bodies, analyzes the norms of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, which contain provisions that recognize and guarantee local self-government, independent within the limits of the powers conferred upon him by law. It is pointed out that according to the constitutional principles ensuring the independence of local self-government, public authorities are obliged to guarantee this independence by their specific activities, not allowing undue interference, infringing legitimate interests of municipal entities, interaction of local self-government bodies with officials and officials representing the statestal structures. This activity should be carried out according to strictly established rules and principles, including glasnost, equal observance of the interests of the parties, observance of the principle of voluntariness, provision of the necessary resources of local communities, carried out in accordance with the requirements of legislation.
