Relevance of article is caused by the changes happening in Russia. Forming and development in historically developed zones of a recreation and rest of qualitatively new economic localities of a special improving profile becomes one of the perspective directions of structural transformations in the southern regions having considerable recreational resources and resort infrastructure. During the research the author revealed that in the course of the specification of communications of participants of the local markets and adaptation of process of the reproduction which developed in the organizations of the existing resort areas there are two qualitatively new functions corresponding to tasks of system localities of an improving profile: function of forming of potential of health, function of socialization of territorial reproduction. Offers and recommendations for the organization of process of reproduction in localizations of an improving profile promote activization of the transformational processes proceeding in Russia aimed at the innovative development of domestic economy.
