Abstract:
The problem of corruption has existed for centuries, but so far neither the science nor the legislation has developed a single definition of the phenomenon under investigation. Today, the problem of corruption is one of the most acute and socially significant problems of Russian society and the entire world community. At present, the economic and legal aspects of countering corruption are clearly outlined by documents, but in practice there are problems in the implementation of certain measures to counter this negative phenomenon. The article analyzes the historical stages of corruption.
