The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the criminal policy of the application of preventive measures against those who are accused of committing economic crimes. The author analyzes the recent initiatives of the public authorities for carrying out this policy. Particular attention is paid to the explanations given by the Plenum of the Supreme Court, on the application of preventive measures against this category of defendants.
