Abstract:
The article attempts to draw the attention of criminologists to the problem of stalking and to generalize the definitions of the concept of "stalking" given by foreign authors. Raises the issue of the need for criminalization of stalking. Article viewed by the author as staged actualize new aspects of scientific research. The purpose of writing this article: determine the deviant form of behavior - stalking. Foreign experts involved in research of these scientific issues: J. Reid Meloy, Tjaden, Thoennes, Mullen, Müller, Pathe, Purcell, Stuart, J. Scott, J. Hoffmann, Forastieri. Methodology: the article is made based on an integrated, multidisciplinary approach, using a combination of scientific and special methods of research: comparative-typological, logical and analytical, formal-logical, systematic and structural. Conclusions: Stalking consists in deliberate ill-willed and repetitive actions taken to persecute another person. Stalking, as a form of deviant behavior, is a complex problem, the solution of which depends to a large extent on the characteristics of the methods and technologies used to provide timely assistance to the victims of persecution. Criminological experience of crime prevention represents various forms of organization of assistance to victims, prevention, drawing attention to the problem, creating models for responding to the problem from government agencies. In our country there are no legislative grounds for preventing stalking. Scope of the study: The article is staged. Prepared outside the territorial, historical and legal framework of scientific research. Practical value: The provisions of article can be used in the practice of law enforcement agencies to develop a strategy and tactics of the stalking prevention. Social consequences: the criminalization of stalking, the development of measures to prevent stalking. Checking the article for originality showed the following results: borrowing 6.43%; Citing 0.41%; Originality 93.16%.
