Grounds for the acquisition and termination of citizenship of Russian Federation

Objective (reason) of writing this article the in-depth study of the grounds for the acquisition and termination of citizenship, the study of scientific and legal literature on the topic, analysis of selected examples of judicial practice, study of the legal positions of the constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. Methodological basis: to achieve this goal, we used methods: a logical analysis and synthesis, regulatory logical analysis, a method of comparative law. Result: the characteristic of the grounds for the acquisition and termination of citizenship accordance with the provisions of the current legislation of Russia. The work is illustrated by the examples of judicial practice. Explore some of the acts of the constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. Possibility of subsequent use of results of scientific work: this article can be used for writing the dissertation as well as practicing lawyers. Next steps: the following author plan to write a series of articles devoted to the Institute for citizenship. Theoretical value of this article is that its complement the theory of the Institute of citizenship, allowing more detail to understand its place and importance in the emerging system of law. The practical significance of the article comes to the possibilities of the use of this article in the future at a writing of the dissertation. Social consequences (impact on society, politics): the institution of the citizenship acts as a significant part not only in people's lives. Also at the national level, the issues of citizenship often become a subject of heated political discussions, especially during election campaigns. Originality (value) of article: determined primarily carried out in our country's legal, administrative reforms, reflects the current state of the institution of citizenship in General.
