Abstract:
The author has attempted to identify common patterns and characteristics of the process of the emergence and development of ancient Russian and Bulgarian statehood in the context of the influence of Byzantine culture on the political and legal pro-space Kievan Rus and Bulgaria. Through involvement in the orbit of political influence of Byzantium Empire-Christian culture has been incorporated into all socially important spheres of the Eastern Slavs, which determined the genetic relationship of the emerging geopolitical and legal space of medieval Russia and Bulgaria to the values of the Orthodox branch of the Christian culture. The methodological basis of the study of complex scientific methods, such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, abstraction; and special methods - historical, systematic and structural, rather-legal. The paper can serve as a basis for further scientific development of the designated issues. This work is focused on the faculty of law schools, adjuncts, graduate students, applicants, students and students interested in the history of the state and law of Russia and foreign countries.
