The genesis of international criminal law with the participation of the Russian state in the XIX century

Problem: Currently it is growing an interest in the study of the historical aspects related to the formation of various institutions of law. The least explored are the issues of international law as a whole and its individual sectors. This article throws light upon the historical and legal analysis of the legal registration of the formation of international relations in the criminal justice field, including the direct participation of the Russian state. Model: In the study it is made a historical and legal analysis of the process of formation of international criminal law in the nineteenth century, with the participation of the Russian state, based on primary sources ( international legal documents (contracts ) concluded with Russia in various states in specified period of time ), and scientific works devoted to the study of relevant issues. Conclusions: It is carried out a historical and legal analysis, the trends related to the process of formation and legalization of international criminal law are identified, the steps and the main directions of the process, describing the legal consolidation of the relevant provisions at the level of international treaties concluded by various, mainly European countries, with Russia, are characterized. Scope of the study / the possibility of subsequent use of the results of the scientific work - the study is limited with timeframe and one branch of international law that can be expanded in terms of the chronological framework and areas of cooperation. Social consequences: In a systematic manner, with reference to the source, the work covers the process of becoming legal registration of interstate relations in the sphere of criminal law in the given period of time, which makes contribution to the study of the history of international law in general, including the relevant political and legal processes. Originality / value: the work can be used to study the history of state and law, international law, and a range other sciences.
