Annotation:
The article is devoted to the study of legal measures and the existing in foreign countries experience of the electronic monitoring of convicts’ behavior. The results of the analysis show that in Europe electronic means are used at various stages of criminal prosecution as well as against various categories of persons. The widest scope of application of technical control equipment is observed in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and France. The practice of using e-monitoring tools in foreign countries for persons at the post-penitentiary stage is of interest for the domestic criminal-executive system.
