Possibility of Using the Results of Special Psychophysiological Researches and Forensic Examination of Individuals with the Signs of Simulation and Aggravation of Somatic Illnesses

Task - the analysis of modern scientific theses on the issues of development and systematization of special methods of overcoming the counteraction of people with the signs of simulation and aggravation of somatic illnesses in criminal investigation, identification of debatable theses, generalization the practice of violent crimes. Model - the research is based on dialectical-methodological principles and laws of scientific knowledge including the principle of unity of cognizable reality, which determines the integrity of the scientific knowledge system, the law of integration and differentiation of sciences. Conclusions - overcoming the counteraction of individuals with the signs of simulation and aggravation of somatic illnesses in the course of interrogation during the investigation of violent crimes must be complex. While investigating violent crimes and preparing to interrogation of individuals with the signs of simulation and aggravation of somatic illnesses, it is advisable and effective to use the data received during psychophysiological examinations with the help of a polygraph as a method of receiving and checking evidentiary information and as one of the methods of psychophysiological diagnostics. Research/ the possibility of subsequent use of the scientific work results - the research is devoted to the analysis of the possibilities of using the results of special psychophysiological and medical examinations of individuals with the signs of simulation and aggravation of somatic illnesses. Practical value - separate conclusions and suggestions formulated in the research may contribute to greater attention to the problems identified, to the increase of the efficiency of criminal investigation. Originality/value - the scientific article contains debatable questions and is intended for those who are interested in topical problems of criminal investigation. The article deals with the possibilities of applying special medical knowledge to individuals with the signs of simulation, aggravation and artificial formation of somatic disorders.
