Abstract:
The article provides an overview of the legislation regulating the activities of the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC). The history of creation and subsequent development of the deposit insurance system is investigated. The procedure for paying compensations to depositors during the liquidation or reorganization of banks is analyzed.
