CANADIAN SENATE REFORM: EXPERIENCE AND PERSPECTIVES

The article analyses the experience and prospects of Canadian Senate reform in line with the ongoing policy to modernize the Canadian State. The author studies the approaches of leading political forces to the Upper House reform within the context of constitutional development and institutional building of the political and legal system of the modern Canadian federation.
