In the article the author considers the classification of transfers of an employee depending on the timing. Provides various classifications temporary transfers and is separated into types. Classification of temporary transfers into groups depending on the transfer initiative. Analysis of timing and grounds for temporary transfers. Сonsiders the gaps in labour legislation and provides suggestions for change. Conclusions are made about the need to amend part 1 of article 72.2 and part 3 of article 72.2 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation. This article is intended for lawyers, heads of organizations, legislators of the Russian Federation, law faculties and universities.
