Abstract:

The article deals with urgent and insufficiently studied in the science of constitutional law the problem of public associations as subjects of constitutional law. The author analyzes the development trends of the Russian legislation on public associations of citizens and on this basis explores the process of legalization the main forms of public associations. Using the comparative legal research method, the author examines legal regulation of organization and activity of public associations in the constitutions of various countries of the world. For all the issues made the author's conclusions and generalizations. The article has a practical orientation. Its materials can be used in the process of improving Russian legislation on public associations.
