Feature of a common European economic space and the powers of the EFTA and EEA authorities to ensure its functioning

Objectives: The article is devoted to modern development trends and features of the creation of a single European economic space, as well as to the work and functions of the EEA Joint Committee, the EFTA Control Authority and the EFTA Court, whose activities are aimed at coordinating national approaches in the light of pan-European integration. Model: The paper is used formally legal, systematic and historical methods of cognition. In the analysis of the legal and regulatory framework and the doctrine of comparative law applied method in the study of jurisprudence, the method of interpretation of the law. Conclusions: The main task of the bodies of the EEA and EFTA is not just the creation of a homogeneous legal space of the EEA, but also the harmonization and unification of national legislations of the EFTA / EEA states in the light of the functioning of the common market. The role of the EFTA Court is decisive in the course of this process, this is due not so much to the desire of the states themselves to create a single legal space, but rather to the authoritative and reasoned position of the Court of the integration association and the possibility of its interaction with the national justice authorities/ Originality / value: the content of the article may be of interest to researchers in the field of international economic law dealing with problems of integration at the regional level, as well as issues of the activities and significance of international justice institutions of regional integration.
