Abstract:

Objective: The aim of this study is to identify the grounds that justify assignment of suspect procedural status to the extradited person (for criminal prosecution or for execution of a foreign court sentence). Scope: Article 54 of the Russian Federation Code of Criminal Procedure. Conclusions: Acknowledgement of the need for concretization of procedural status in the criminal procedure law. Practical Significance: for the law enforcer (the court, prosecutor) in execution of the rights and freedoms of the person to be extradited.
