Objectives: At the present stage, the extremist structures and methods used by them challenge the universally recognized democratic values. As a result, serious changes occur in the personality of adherents, adherents or followers of sects and clubs. Model and methods - The questions touched upon in work with confidence can be referred to as multidisciplinary, as they affect political structures, social phenomena, organizational and ideological resources, integrative processes and worldviews. Conclusions and results - As the practice of countering extremism shows, no less significant measures contributing to the solution of these problems are the improvement and activation of the work of commissions on extremist materials in the system of state forensic expert institutions. Particular attention should be given here to the development of materials and views that presuppose facts of national, racial and religious hatred or enmity.
