The special interest in this topic can be explained by the fact that the legal consciousness of any group of the population of the state is closely connected with the socio-political situation in the country, as well as with the political and social activity of social groups. The cardinal changes in all spheres of society's life, which took place in recent decades, were to contribute to the formation of an appropriate, adequate legal consciousness and legal culture. The realities of today, unfortunately, show us the opposite. We have to state that the implementation of legal transformations faces the following negative factors: the criminalization of youth, the increase in the number of radical young people, and the increase in the number of young people who are in alcohol and drug dependence. Therefore, one of the primary tasks of the state in implementing the youth policy is the creation and implementation of activities to increase the sense of justice and legal culture of the younger generation.
