Abstract:
The article analyses notions that serve for designating the general law purpose of the examination. The comparative law and linguistic analysis is used for explaining the content of the following notions: true testimony, complete testimony, reliable testimony. The research done resulted in the conclusion: obtaining of true and complete testimony should be regarded as the general law purpose of the examination.
