Abstract:
The Republic of Serbia is a State with a parliamentary form of government. Along with a strong Legislative authority in the country acts strong Executive power, which is exercised by the President and the Government of Serbia. Therefore, the system of government in Serbia is often described as rationalized parliamentarism. The National Assembly (Serbian Parliament) possesses the traditional legislative, budgetary, and supervisory functions. The forms of parliamentary control in the Republic of Serbia include: deputy question, interpellation, activities of special committees and commissions, hearings of the Government’s report on the performed activity and review of the question of no confidence to the Government, the analysis of which is presented in this article.
