Abstract:
Terrorist activity in all its manifestations has become a global problem of our time, and therefore counter-terrorism activity is one of the priorities of the foreign and domestic policy of the Russian Federation. The political foundations of countering terrorism are implemented through the criminal policy pursued by the state, which represents the direction of the state’s targeted activity in the fight against crime, in particular, in the fight against terrorism. The main goal of criminal policy is to identify ways and methods of confronting the global threat of terrorism, developing concrete measures to combat it based on an objective assessment of the events taking place.
